Will hunting is 20 years old, who works as a cleaning classrooms at one of the best and famous university in the world. He grows up in various fosters homes. Will has been physically abused as a child by his foster dad. Will is a genius man who have a photographic memory, he also likes to solve math problems. He solved a math problem who the professor have written at the blackboard. Those math problems are very difficult but for Will they are easy.

One day the professor saw Will write the answer at the blackboard, but Will runs away when he saw the professor. professor Lambeau searched for will because he saw the talent will had. Will is a criminal and have done many stupid things in is life like attacked people and other things. professor Lambeau makes a deal with the judges to keep Will out of jail, as long as Will work on mathematical problems and to get psychological help. Will accept these deal with the professor.

By the time Will have been in love with a Harvord student Skylar. Skylar want Will to came with her to California there she was going to study medical school, Will is probably to scared to become so emotionally close to another person.

by the end of the movie Professor Lambeau wants Will to get a job there he will use his mathematical talent. The movie ended with the will went to California to find up Skylar
